Maintenance Planning & Coordinator

This candidate has got a total of 17 years’ experience in the Mechanical & Piping Trades. The last 10 Years he worked in Project/Shutdown and Maintenance Planning and Coordination; Supervisory & Managerial Positions where he was involved in all trades associated in the Project/s. Experience, but not limited to, include Mechanical/Piping Supervisory /Logistics & Procurement Coordination & Management/Project, Maintenance, Shutdown & Turnaround Planning/ Planning & Projects Coordinating/Shutdown & Project Development & Management.

On Site Scoping (All requirements ex. Material requirements) • Materials verification for project to be executed (Materials that’s available on site and warehouse) • Creating Bill of Materials as per drawings received from engineering (Ready for construction Drawings) • Working closely with buyer/s for additional Materials that’s needed for Project/s execution • Creating of Work Orders Using EAM & SAP system • Creation of PR’s (Purchase requests) • Chasing approvals of PR’s through all levels of approval/s • Chasing Payments through buyers and financial department for Suppliers (Providing Materials needed) • Expediting of Materials that’s being ordered through Logistics team • Receiving of materials (Verify if the correct materials has being ordered and Received as per engineering requirements) • Resource Loading/requirements • Requesting Heavy equipment ex Cranes, Forklifts, and Man lifts • Requesting and managing scaffolding Erection/s and dismantling/s as per weekly schedule being set (As per priorities) • Compiling of Schedules using Microsoft Project • Arrange and attend meetings to freeze Schedule/s/scope as per planned Activities • Walk downs with all necessary Parties involved in the Project Execution (Make sure all Parties involved Understands what needs to be done) • Creating of Work Packages • Quality Checks performed on Old & New Equipment that’s being worked on • Managing and Closing of Work Orders per discipline • Managing Activities/Work being performed • Managing Costs allowed for Project to be executed • AFE’s(Budget) Request/s through Upper Management and Financial Department • Project close outs • Commissioning(Working Closely with Operations Personnel with the Plant Start-up)
