A leading company that specialises in chemicals is seeking the services of a Receptionist/Sales Administrator. The ability to balance and prioritize multiple tasks, requests and meet deadlines in a professional manner is required. The successful candidate will be very presentable and have a professional telephone etiquette.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reception/Sales
  • Answering of calls
  • Taking messages
  • Assisting with quotes and pricing
  • Assist walk in customers
  • Filing
  • Ordering of stationary as well as office supplies – milk, sugar etc
  • Arranging meetings If there is a work function, the person will arrange eats, drinks and décor
  • Admin, Invoicing, Stock Control – exposure/experience in warehouse stock, stock take would be advantageous
  • When customers arrive, see to them with drinks etc and take them to the board room
  • Purchase order – Ordering of Bags etc.
  • Assisting with Credit applications
  • Responsible for the repairs and maintenance for the building e.g.- if door is broken, they need to get someone out to fix, quote etc.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of Matric
  • Pastel Evolution
  • Excel
  • Proven track record
  • Exceptional telephone etiquette
  • Presentable
