Marketing Manager (Pumps & Valves)- Gauteng

Purpose of role is to develop, implement and execute strategic marketing plans in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones. The day to day marketing activities of the organisation and long term marketing strategy for the company. Introduce, promote and support the company’s Pump and Valves Automation Products to the Sub-Saharan Market. Maintain high standards of support in accordance with company procedures contributing to the success of the Operational business units, in line with the objectives of the company.
 Ø Managing all marketing for the company and activities within the marketing department
 Ø Developing the marketing strategy for the company in line with company objectives
 Ø Coordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities; monitoring the company’s marketing budget
 Ø Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans
 Ø Planning and implementing promotional campaigns; overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity
 Ø Preparing online and print marketing campaigns; monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications
 Ø Creating a wide range of different marketing materials
 Ø Working closely with design agencies and assisting with new product launches
 Ø Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives
 Ø Analyzing potential strategic partner relationships for company marketing
 Ø Conduct various promotional activities and participation in trade and exhibition
Ø Introduce modern, competitive products from the company’s Portfolio that meet local market requirements
 Ø Promote and support products to sales department and to customers
 Ø Focus on Consulting Engineers and high level decision makers
 Ø Internal and external training and presentations; ensure all sales tools are functional and accurate
 Ø Monitor an ensure financial performance of products; support Marketing activities
 Ø Monitor opposition trends and activities
 Ø Comply with and enforce company’s global Product Management strategies and procedures
 Ø Assist fellow employees with daily functions as and when required
 Ø Carry out all other reasonable tasks that may be delegated from time to time

EDUCATION

Tertiary qualification in Marketing / Diploma or Degree or similar related qualification in Marketing

EXPERIENCE: 

5-10 Years Marketing experience

REQUIREMENTS:

Willing to travel; Computer Literacy; (Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook, as well as SAP ERP 6.0)Strong analytical and project management skills; Confident and dynamic personality; Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.
